Steve Maclin Attacks Adam Copeland Backstage at AEW Dynamite Ahead of Their Match at MLP Northern Rising

Steve Maclin has sent a stern message to AEW’s Adam Copeland ahead of their match at MLP Northern Rising.

As noted, Copeland issued a challenge to Maclin earlier this month after the latter took aim at the Canadian wrestling ecosystem, noting that it’s a feeder system to the USA. Maclin subsequently accepted the challenge, and the two are now set to face off at the Maple Leaf Gardens on October 3.

Ahead of last night’s AEW Dynamite, Maclin ambushed the one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions backstage. Earlier today, Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) released footage of the attack via social media.

Copeland is set to have a busy weekend ahead of his clash with Steve Maclin at MLP Northern Rising, as he and Christian Cage are scheduled to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks and FTR in a Ladder Match at All Out: Chicago on September 26.
