Swerve Strickland Praises Myka Lockwood’s Variation Of His Move

Swerve Strickland is impressed by NXT star Myka Lockwood’s variation on one of his signature maneuvers. The AEW star posted to Twitter on Monday to share Lockwood’s clip of her using a double pumphandle slam into a powerslam, which she credited to Shane Mercer. Lockwwood’s post came from back in April of 2025, and Lockwood uses the move as a signature maneuver.
The post was a follow up to a fan who had noted how the move was similar to Strickland’s a powerbomb into a powerslam. Swerve Strickland noted that the version Lockwood does is much harder than his version, writing:
“The hand clutch setup is the @theirondemon version which is MUCH harder to do than my powerbomb version. Which she pulled off both excellent.”
Myka Lockwood was a member of the cast for the first two seasons of WWE LFG and has since gone onto NXT. She is a member of Vanity Project.
