Tag Team Title #1 Contenders & More Set For Next Week’s WWE NXT

WWE has announced a #1 contenders match for the NXT Tag Team Championships and more for next week’s episode of WWE NXT. It was announced on Tuesday’s show that Hank & Tank, OTM, The Culling and Vanity Project will compete for a shot against DarkState’s Tag Team Championships. The match was initially a triple threat match until Vanity Project defeated Hank & Tank with help from Jackson Drake. Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes successfully appealed to GM Robert Stone to be put into the match.

In addition, Lola Vice will battle Kelani Jordan. The two have been feuding for weeks and Jordan assaulted Vice on tonight’s show as she was in medical for her wrist. And Ethan Page will defend the NXT North American Championship against Shiloh Hill after he asked Stone for a challenger, only to have Hill pop into frame with his lost machete that he found in the GM’s office.

As previously reported, another match with title implications will take place as Elio LaFleur battles Eli Knight in the finals of the WWE Men’s Speed Championship tournament. And Cutler James will battle Tony D’Angelo, who is targeting DarkState for tearing his family apart last year.

WWE NXT takes place next week live in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and airs live on The CW and Netflix internationally. The updated lineup is:
