Tatum Paxley Defeats Blake Monroe to Retain Women’s North American Title at NXT Stand & Deliver 2026

Blake Monroe’s efforts to again become the NXT Women’s North American Champion went in vain, as Tatum Paxley retained her title at Stand & Deliver 2026.

Tatum injured her shoulder during the initial stages of the match after Blake Monroe nailed her with a Hurricanrana on the steel ramp, leading to Blake repeatedly targeting it.

However, Paxley eventually made a comeback, delivering two Enziguris and following it up with a Suplex.

Blake eventually regained the advantage as she Powerbombed Paxley off the apron to the floor. Monroe then removed one of the turnbuckles to distract the referee and then blasted Paxley with the belt. However, Paxley continued to fight, and how?

In the closing moments of the match, Blake hit Tatum with the Glamour Shot DDT after the reigning champion’s head hit the exposed turnbuckle. However, Paxley again kicked out. Monroe went for another Glamour Shot DDT, but this time, Tatum countered it with the Cemetery Drive to retain the title and regain the belt that Blake had stolen a few weeks ago on NXT.

Tatum’s reign as Women’s North American Champion now stands at 29 days. She won the title by defeating former ally Izzi Dame at NXT Vengeance Day last month. Tonight’s victory marks her second successful title defense on television, having previously retained it against Dame in a Steel Cage match on the March 17, 2026, episode of NXT.
