TNA Impact Rating, Viewership Drop Back Down Against FIFA World Cup

TNA Impact gave back its jump in ratings and audience last week, falling against the FIFA World Cup game. Thursday night’s go-home episode of Impact before Slammiversary brought in a 0.02 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 188,000 viewers per Programming Insider. Those numbers are down 60% and 26.3% respectively from the previous week’s 0.05 demo rating and 255,000 viewers. As will always be the case, these numbers do not include AMC+ or TNA+ streaming viewership.
The demo rating was tied with the number from two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the total audience was the lowest for Impact since the May 21st episode had 257,000. The top shows for the night were the FIFA World Cup game on FOX, which scored a massive 5.08 demo rating and 17.015 million viewers for the 9:45 PM ET game, and the 8:00 PM ET game which had a 2.32 demo rating and 8.084 million. By comparison, last week’s FIFA competition was a 3.37 demo rating and 9.361 million viewers.
As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings makes ratings difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. In addition, TNA Impact does not have good past years to compare to, because of a lack of 2025 and 2024 numbers. Thus far in 2026, TNA Impact is averaging a 0.037 demo rating and 215,000 viewers.
