Veteran wrestler Tommy Dreamer has revealed that he has parted ways with TNA Wrestling. Dreamer, who had been working with TNA as an on-screen talent, backstage producer, talent relations executive, and creative team member since 2018, revealed on Busted Open Radio this morning that he has exited the wrestling promotion.
Dreamer revealed that he had a “great conversation” with TNA President Carlos Silva and that both parties agreed to part ways mutually. Here’s what Tommy Dreamer said [per Fightful]:
“All relationships come to an end. I had a great conversation with Carlos Silva. Me and TNA are no longer in a relationship. We mutually agreed to part ways. It’s hard. I’ve given so much of my life to that company. I don’t have any ill will or malice. I wanted to survive and be the best I can be. It was a 24-hour job, and I had it for ten years. Everything comes to an end. I know I’ll be okay. I hope TNA will be okay. There are no issues or malice. At this time, we just need to take a break.”
Dreamer’s departure comes in the wake of several high-profile exits from TNA Wrestling in the form of Tessa Blanchard, Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, Steph de Lander, Mance Warner, and Dani Luna.
411Mania will provide more updates on Tommy Dreamer’s sudden TNA exit when they are available.
