Trevor Lee secures championship gold in Major League Wrestling.
Tonight’s episode of MLW Fusion saw Lee battle Diego Hill, Festus, Ikuro Kwon, Jesus Rodriguez, Josh Bishop, Paul Walter Hauser, Andrew Everett, Matthew Justice, and The Beastman in a Bunkhouse Stampede Match to earn the right to be called the first-ever MLW Southern Crown Champion.
The finish of the match saw Trevor Lee flatten Andrew Everett with the Cave In and secure the decisive pinfall. This is Lee’s first championship triumph in Major League Wrestling. He has previously worked for WWE and TNA Wrestling and is a one-time NXT North American Champion and a three-time TNA Division Champion.
Meanwhile, MLW announced the Southern Crown Championship last month to honor Mid-Atlantic wrestling traditions.
