Triple H Reveals WWE SummerSlam Graphic for Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins, Hypes Matchup Being ’14 Years in the Making’

During last night’s WWE Raw, Seth Rollins confronted World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, setting up a match between the two former Shield stablemates for WWE SummerSlam 2026. WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared a poster for the matchup on social media, hyping it up as being “14 years in the making.
Triple H wrote, “A main event 14 years in the making… The stakes can’t be any higher… The prize any more valuable. Roman Reigns…. Seth Rollins…. For the @WWE World Heavyweight Championship. #SummerSlam”
Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title goes down at WWE SummerSlam 2026. The two-night premium live event takes place on August 1-2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It will air live on the ESPN App domestically and on Netflix internationally.
