Seth Rollins Confronts Roman Reigns On WWE Raw, World Title Match Set For SummerSlam

Seth Rollins has a World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, securing the match during the main event segment of WWE Raw. The closing segment of Monday’s show saw Rollins interrupt a promo by Reigns and challenge the champion for SummerSlam.

Reigns came out to the ring with Jacob Fatu to open the show and got his acknowledgement before Rollins interrupted. He talked about how they’re brothers and referenced their time in the Shield before saying it was time for him to collect the World Title that he said belonged to him.

Reigns countered that Rollins hasn’t done anything to earn a shot at him, but Rollins said that he’s always front of the line when it comes to Reigns. He said that he owns Reigns in the ring, referencing his win at WrestleMania 41 and his sacrificing himself at WrestleMania 40 which led to Cody Rhodes beating Reigns. He added that he has owned Reigns since the day he ended the Shield, and that Reigns hasn’t been able to beat him so he’s giving Reigns this chance.

Reigns acknowledged that Rollins was right and that he didn’t want to beat Rollins’ he needed to. He accepted the challenge to make the title match official. You can see the clips from the segment below.
