As previously reported, WWE announced the first-ever WWE premium live event to be held in Italy, with WWE Clash in Italy, which takes place in May 2026. In addition to the announcement, WWE also confirmed it will be part of WWE’s European Summer Tour 2026 on its Instagram account. The announcement has notably drawn the attention of WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus, who commented on the news.
Trish Stratus wrote in the comments section, “No but why do I suddenly feel like dusting off this ring rust.” The WWE Hall of Famer and icon last stepped into the ring in July at WWE Evolution 2025, where she challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship. Stratton was victorious in the match.
It remains to be seen if Stratus will return to action during the upcoming European Summer Tour and Clash in Italy. The tour’s premium live event, Clash in Italy, will be held at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy on Sunday, May 31.
