Update on Broken Matt Hardy Trademark Filing

– Matt Hardy’s trademark for his Broken character is continuing its way through the process. The mark is set to be published for opposition next month, per PWInsider.

According to the site, the mark registration will be published for opposition on December 19th. After that happens, any parties wishing to oppose it, such as Anthem Media/Impact Wrestling, will have a thirty-day period to file their opposition. If not, it will be assigned to Hardy and will be available for him to use.

Hardy has been teasing the Broken character since jumping to WWE from Impact, but has been held back due to Impact claiming ownership of the gimmick.
