Update On Interest In Chris Jericho From WWE & Others

A new report provides an update on interest in Chris Jericho from WWE and others beyond AEW. Jericho’s future has been a matter of speculation as of late. His contract with AEW expires at the end of 2025, and it’s been reported may be headed to WWE.

A new report from Fightful Select notes that there’s been no word of him being brought on in AEW in a creative capacity. However, Jericho typically discusses his creative with Tony Khan. Sources in AEW noted that Jericho’s relationship with AEW remains strong. There’s no one close to Jericho who has expressed his view on the matter.

Sean Ross Sapp additionally confirms that several global and national companies are interested in him, including WWE. No word on any direct conversations in WWE about Jericho, nor creative ideas being discussed. However, higher-ups in the company have brought him up.

One source in WWE said that Jericho would almost 100% be offered “several million dollars” a year to return to the company. That source also said they believe AEW could match such an offer, and that they aren’t sure what Jericho’s motivations are.

For his part, Jericho has not directly addressed his plans post-2025.
