Update On Ticket Sales For MLP Northern Rising

Tickets went on sale today for MLP Northern Rising, and a new report notes that the numbers are already looking strong. Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced on Friday morning that tickets were on sale for this year’s iteration of the event, which is taking place at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Adam Copeland has been advertised as appearing at the show.

According to PWInsider, the show has already sold over 1,000 tickets and crossed that mark in the first hour. The site reports that the Scott D’Amore-owned promotion is “over the moon” about it and feel as if the strong early sales are a sign that MLP Mayhem on TSN2 is proving to be a success for the company. It’s also being viewed as proof of how big Copeland’s appearance will be for them.

The site notes that according to sources in Maple Leaf Pro, they are very grateful to Tony Khan and AEW for signing off on Copeland’s appearance.
