Note On Why Leon Slater Match At RevPro 14-Year Anniversary Didn’t Air On MyAEW

Leon Slater’s match at RevPro 14-Year Anniversary did not air on MyAEW, and a new report has some context on the matter. The RevPro event took place on Saturday and aired live on MyAEW, with the exception of Slater’s match against Liam Slater.
There was some speculation that TNA was behind the decision not to have the match air on the AEW-owned platform, particularly considering that TNA president Carlos Silva had TNA talent pulled from matches with AEW talent earlier this year. However, the F4W Online daily update from Sunday noted that RevPro’s Andy Quildan said that it was his decision.
The report notes that the Leon Slater vs. Liam Slater match will be put on YouTube soon and added that there were “no direct instructions” not to put the match on MyAEW. Rather, Quildan made the call to avoid any potential problems. The match did air on RevPro’s own stream.
TNA also gave a statement on the matter to Wrestling Noticias, noting:
“TNA Wrestling was not involved with that event or match, including fans seeing said match or not seeing it.”
