Will Ospreay is one step closer to the Owen Hart Cup, defeating Samoa Joe at AEW Double Or Nothing. Sunday night’s PPV featured Ospreay battling Joe in a first-round match in the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The two took each other to the limit, with Joe dominating Ospreay at times but Ospreay fighting back to get nearfalls.

The finish came at 13 minutes and 50 second into the match, when Joe went for a Muscle Buster but Ospreay countered into a Hidden Blade. He covered but Joe kicked out at one and a second Hidden Blade got the pinfall. You can see clips from the AEW Double Or Nothing match below.

Ospreay moves on to face the winner of Mark Davis vs. Jack Perry in the semifinals. The finals of the tournament will take place at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28th in San Jose, California, with the winner getting a World Title shot at All In: London.
