AEW star Will Ospreray spoke about his experience working behind-the-scenes at the recent Pro Wrestling EVE events. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion called the promotion one of his “proudest achievements.”

Commenting on the after party following the show, Ospreay wrote on his X account, “After Party. This was the moment I truly realised what we had done this night was special. We’ve created a premier promotion and it’s all WOMEN. Women’s wrestling truly is the underdog, that is constantly battling for equality and a voice. A sold out after party with fans that wanted to show their love to all the performers is exactly what I wanted when I took up the job.”

Ospreay later continued, “Personally for me. I’ve traveled the world and wrestled in some of the most iconic buildings in the world. International Women’s Day 2026 will forever be remembered as one of the best moments in my career. The fact I’ve earned the trust of the women and fans that support EVE is one of my proudest achievements.”

The former AEW International Champion added, “For years I’ve been a fuckhead idiot and all I’ve ever wanted outta this is to give people the same feeling I get when I wrestle. I understand the responsibility that is in front of me. I will do everything in my power to ensure that this is only just a stepping stone for EVE and next year will be bigger & better. I ****ing love you EVE 💚”

During last Sunday’s EVE Wrestle Queendom 8, the former Dakota Kai, aka Charlie, challenged AEW star Kris Statlander for the EVE International Championship in a losing effort. Also, Willow Nightingale defended her TBS Title against Nina Samuels.
