Will Ospreay Faces Ricochet In Pac Tribute-Heavy Match AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay and Ricochet faced off in a Pac tribute-heavy match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Wednesday night’s episode was a tribute to PAC, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 40. The show featured Ospreay and Ricochet, two of PAC’s longtime rivals, going one-on-one.

The 16 minute-plus bout saw Ricochet drop his heel persona, as they knelt together and then hugged in the ring before the match. They started off with some counter-wrestling before things escalated, featuring some of PAC’s signature moves. Ospreay hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on Ricochet at one point, while Ricochet used PAC’s Shooting Star Pele Kick followed by a Shooting Star Press for two.

The finish of the match saw Ospreay nail Ricochet with the Hidden Blade, but instead of pinning him he went up top and hit a Black Arrow for the pinfall. Ospreay broke down after the match and he and Ricochet hugged with the rest of United Empire and the referee sharing the moment.
