– Defiant Wrestling announced the following today…

Loaded is back! See it live in person in Newcastle on December 3 (wearedefiant.com/tickets). First episode on YouTube December 9. When WCPW Loaded first launched in 2016, the goal was to bring free wrestling to the widest possible audience on YouTube. For over a year, we managed to deliver on this before the financial realities of YouTube’s monetisation of wrestling began to make it less and less viable. Together, we created some incredible moment. Over the past 9 months, Defiant Wrestling has been slowly but surely rebuilding a sustainable product, featuring predominantly UK based talent… but also wrestlers from elsewhere who we’re able to feature and build over more shows than just one and done. Production values have also been steadily improved as we continue to learn and evolve on our journey. And so with a solid foundation now in place with Defiant Wrestling, and a dedicated and driven team – many of whom have been here since that first day in the Warehouse… We now feel more ready than ever before to bring back regular weekly programming… for free… on YouTube. Yes, that’s right, Loaded is back! On December 3 we’ll be taping episodes of the new weekly series, and on December 9 the first episode will air for free on YouTube. Many of the original stars from those first ever WCPW shows will be back… and there’ll be lots of other familiar faces who we’ve grown to love over the past year as Defiant Wrestling. But we can’t do any of this without you. We have created a clear and straight forward schedule for 2019 which will see tapings taking place once a month on Saturdays. For us, building a home for Loaded is massively important… and we couldn’t imagine doing it anywhere but Newcastle. We want to make the shows as accessible as possible, and tickets for that first show in the O2 Academy are just £12. Now… it has to be said that nothing has changed in terms of YouTube’s monetisation policies, and so of course we must still ultimately work towards live Pay Per View events, but these will all be built over a period of 5 weekly episodes on YouTube. We fully appreciate that not everyone will be able to support the shows financially in this way, and so select highlights from these events will also be made available on YouTube ensuring those unable to subscribe can still support and follow the storylines from Loaded. We’re aiming to make the return of Loaded more interactive than ever before, taking on board your feedback on many things ahead of the relaunch. From the colour of the canvas, to the on screen graphics, to the talent featured on the shows… between now and the first taping on December 3 we’ll be asking you to help us decide on all those little details that will go into making Loaded the best show it possibly can be. #WeAreDefiant For more information and tickets to our upcoming shows, visit: https://wearedefiant.com
