Anna Jay’s comeback match after nearly six months of inactivity ended in disappointing fashion, as she failed to beat Willow Nightingale for the AEW TBS Championship on tonight’s Collision.

Jay had her moments, like when she hit Willow with the Sunset Flip or when she nailed a spinning kick and followed it with a Bulldog, or when she hit a Superkick and an X-Factor. But each time, it resulted in a nearfall.

The closing moments of the match saw Anna Jay apply the Queenslayer submission to Willow. However, the latter powered out of it and then planted her opponent with the Babe with the Powerbomb to secure another successful title defense.

Anna and Willow embraced each other after the match. As noted, this was Anna Jay’s first match since November 2025. She recently addressed speculations about her future with the company. You can check it out HERE.

Meanwhile, Willow Nightingale’s reign currently stands at 123 days. She captured the title from Mercedes Mone at Dynamite: New Year’s Smash.
