Latest Update on Bayley & WWE

WWE is reportedly confident that Bayley will remain with the company and sign a new contract, despite her current absence from television.

The Role Model has been absent from WWE television since losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Valkyria has continued mentioning her former tag team partner on Raw, including during segments involving Sol Ruca and IYO SKY. Those references have kept Bayley connected to an ongoing storyline despite her absence.

Dave Meltzer previously noted that WWE would be unlikely to repeatedly mention her if officials expected her to leave. Now, he reports in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s continued references to her “pretty much says that they believe it’s a lock she will sign a new deal.” The report does not confirm that Bayley has signed a new agreement.

Bayley has not publicly confirmed whether she has signed a new WWE contract or intends to leave the company.
