In a recent development, WWE hired Cyrus Kowsari as the Senior Director of Creative Strategy earlier this month.
Kowsari recently took to his LinkedIn account and expressed his excitement about joining the Stamford-based promotion, citing his passion for various aspects of professional wrestling, such as storytelling, production, and the athleticism involved, all of which make it a must-see TV product.
He wrote:
“If you’ve known me for any part of my life, you know how passionate I am about WWE. The storytelling, the production, and the athleticism combine to make the most exciting and enduring television and live events—decade after decade. WWE’s brand and product have captivated me and inspired my work for as long as I can remember. I am so excited to be here!”
Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently shed light on Cyrus Kowsari’s role as WWE Senior Director of Creative Strategy.
According to the wrestling insider, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H stated that Cyrus will spearhead the global wrestling juggernaut’s transition to AI-based storytelling.
The report also claimed that WWE has a deal with Writer AI, and the platform has already been fed WWE content. However, Meltzer noted that he was told by a person who is privy to the situation that the software has come up with “absurdly bad storylines,” citing a story related to Bobby Lashley, who is no longer associated with the company.
According to the report, Triple H said the shift to AI-based storytelling is “inevitable”.
Meltzer also noted that Kowsari will also be a liaison to the White House with Triple H expanding his political duties.
