– WWE and Impact Wrestling had a meeting of the minds at WWE’s corporate headquarters, according to a new report. PWInsider has confirmed with multiple sources that Ed Nordholm and Scott D’Amore met with “several high-ranking WWE executives” at WWE’s corporate headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The meeting took place last week and, while Vince McMahon was not present, members of Triple H’s team were there.

The site reports that the meeting took place after Impact officials returned from the UK and before they went to Mexico City for Impact tapings. The meeting was said to be more of a general talk about the two companies, and not any specific kind of negotation. Impact officials have declined to comment on the meetings, but one source told the site that they weren’t about any sort of sale of the company or its video library, as neither are up for sale.

WWE and Impact have been working together occasionally since Anthem Media bought the latter company, such as TNA/Impact footage being licensed for use on Hardy Boys and AJ Styles-related WWE Network content.
