WWE NXT Set To Debut on ESPN App With CW Sports Next Month

As previously reported, ESPN and The CW Network announced a partnership that would make the ESPN App the new home of CW sports, which includes the weekly WWE NXT TV program. Earlier today, ESPN announced that CW Spots will make its debut on the service on August 4.

The upcoming launch includes more than 800 hours of live CW Sports Events, which will air live, including WWE NXT. WWE NXT will also stream live on the ESPN App on Tuesday, August 4 at 8:00 pm ET. NXT will kick off the launch of CW Sports on the ESPN App at that time.

The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series from Iowa Speedway will also stream live on the App starting Saturday, August 8 at 4:30 pm ET. Additionally, ESPN also confirmed that the WWE NXT Heatwave premium live event will be streaming on the App on Sunday, August 30 at 3:00 pm ET.

NXT PLEs moved to The CW earlier this summer starting with The Great American Bash, as part of a 20-show deal. Now, they will also be available to view on the ESPN App through the CW Sports deal.

CW Sports will be available within the ESPN APP for all ESPN Unlimited plan subscribers. This is the same tier to view WWE premium live events on the ESPN App.
