WWE Reschedules August Raw Taping To February, Will Now Be a Smackdown

WWE has bumped a planned Charlotte, North Carolina taping of WWE Raw for August to February, with it now being a Smackdown taping. The company had an episode of Raw set for the Spectrum Center in Charlotte on August 31st. However, the venue announced on Friday that the show has been postponed and will now take place on February 19th, 2027.

The announcement notes:

“Monday Night RAW scheduled for Monday, August 31st at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC, has been rescheduled to Friday, February 19, 2027, where Friday Night SmackDown will now take place. All tickets purchased for the Monday, August 31 event will be honored on Friday, February 19, 2027. Purchasers that cannot attend the rescheduled date and prefer a refund, this option is available until Tuesday June 30 by accessing your Ticketmaster Account and selecting the Request Refund button.”

There’s no word as of yet on what the taping was postponed. The company also canceled a September 4th taping of WWE Smackdown in Cincinnati, Ohio. That date has yet to have a new location announced.
