WWE is bringing Saturday Night’s Main Event for Madison Square Garden in July, as confirmed on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. It was announced on Monday night’s show that the company will return to the famed venue for its July 18th iteration of the quarterly special event.
Danhausen made the announcement on Monday’s show during a commercial break. You can see the clip of the announcement below.
It had been reported by Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select last week that WWE was planning the July edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event at the venue. Tonight’s episode of Raw is taking place in MSG.
No matches have yet been announced for the special, which as with all SMNEs will air on Peacock. The next iteration of the special event takes place on May 23rd at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The most recent edition went down on January 24th and saw Sami Zayn earn an Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.
For those that missed it, here is the entire Danhausen segment that took place during the commercial break.
