The demo rating for last week’s WWE Smackdown was down a bit heading into WWE Night of Champions while the viewership was up. Friday’s episode garnered a 0.22 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 1.209 million viewers per Programming Insider. Those numbers were down 12.0% and up 1.5% respectively from the previous week’s 0.25 demo rating and audience of 1.191 million.
The demo rating was still up from the 0.20 from two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the total audience was the best since the May 22nd had 1.258 million viewers. The top spot for the night went to the FIFA World Cup game on FOX again, with a 1.81 demo rating and 6.157 million viewers (last week’s was a 3.32 and 8.740 million). Second place went to the FIFA post-game show with a 1.15/3.901 million viewers.
As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings makes ratings difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said, WWE Smackdown is currently averaging a 0.287 demo rating and 1.229 million viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.437 and 1.502 million for the same time period in 2025.
