The demo rating for last week’s WWE Smackdown bounced back after hitting an all-time low the week before. Friday’s episode earned a 0.20 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 1.038 million viewers per Programming Insider. Those numbers were up 25.0% and 14.7% respectively from the previous week’s 0.20 demo rating and audience of 1.038 million.
The demo rating was the highest point for the show since the May 22nd episode had a 0.29. Meanwhile, the total audience was the best since that same episode in May had 1.258 million viewers. The top spot for the night went to the FIFA World Cup game on FOX again, though at a much lower level at a 3.32 demo rating and 8.740 million viewers (last week’s was a 5.92 amnd 18.037 million). Second place went to the FIFA pre-game show with a 2.76/7.538 million viewers.
As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings makes ratings difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said, WWE Smackdown is currently averaging a 0.290 demo rating and 1.230 million viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.438 and 1.505 million for the same time period in 2025.
