WWE alumnus Apollo Crews is reportedly garnering interest from another company following his WWE release, namely TNA. According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, there has been discussion of TNA having interest in Crews, who exited WWE as part of the post-WrestleMania 42 cuts.
The report makes it clear that after the recent creative shakeup in TNA that saw Tommy Dreamer and others exit, it’s not yet clear where the interest in Crews stands. However, sourecs indicated that Crews had been discussed as someone the company was potentially interested in when he becomes available.
It us not known whether Crews is a free agent yet; if he was released, it is likely that he won’t be available until late July. However, if his contract were simply not renewed, that may not be the case. As such, it’s not clear when he may be able to appear for TNA or any other company. Crews is a former WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion who had been with WWE since 2014.
TNA presents Slammiversary on Sunday from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts and airs live on PPV.
