A new report from PWInsider (via F4WOnline.com) has an update with an early rundown and bout order for tonight’s WWE SummerSlam 2026: Night 1. Going by the new report, tonight’s show will open with Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor in a Number One Contender match.

Meanwhile, it appears that Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title will headline tonight’s show. Here is the reported match order for tonight’s card (from first to last):

* Number One Contender Match: Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn
* WWE United States Championship Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin
* WWE Interim Women’s Championship Ladder Match: Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Chelsea Green vs. Lash Legend.
* Human Monies on a Pole Match: Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio
* WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Penta (c) vs. Chad Gable
* WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins

It should also be noted that during the Countdown to SummerSlam show, Michael Cole confirmed that Reigns vs. Rollins is, unsurprisingly, the main event for Night 2.
