Earlier this week, WWE filed applications with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) to trademark several in-ring names.
One of the names trademarked was Anya Rune. According to Bodyslam+, sources within the company indicate that Anya Rune is slated to be the character name of Airica Demia.
Demia participated in a WWE Tryout session in Orlando last month. Airica Demia is a 21-year-old freelance wrestler from Gastonia, North Carolina, USA. She made her in-ring debut in January 2023 and has since wrestled for several independent promotions. She currently holds three different championships, i.e., the IGB Super Championship, the HCW Women’s World Championship, and the SPARK Joshi Pacific Championship.
Apart from Anya Rune, WWE also filed to trademark “Max Abrams,” “Veronica Haven,” “Gianna Capri,” and “Jacari Ball.”
Earlier today, Bodyslam+ reported that Max Abrams will be the in-ring name of WWE ID prospect Mike Cunningham.
