Tony Khan Wants Referee Paul Turner to ‘Tighten It Up’ Following AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

– Fans took note of the number of referee distractions and illegal techniques that got by the referees last night on AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. Even company President & CEO Tony Khan took note of it on Twitter, singling out AEW referee and senior official Paul Turner.

However, he did also congratulate Turner for refereeing 100 AEW main events, but Tony Khan wants Turner to “tighten it up” with his refereeing. He stated the following:

“Congrats @RefTurnerAEW on refereeing 100 AEW main events! As Senior Official, Paul manages our refs, who do great work, but missed some illegalities in the first few bouts last night. I know we can count on Paul, I’m asking him to tighten it up, starting tomorrow on #AEWRampage!”
