Amy Sedaris Joins The Voice Cast Of The Lion King
Variety reports that Amy Sedaris has joined the voice cast of Disney’s remake of The Lion King, voicing an original character that wasn’t in the 1994 version. She will play an elephant shrew, an African animal with a long nose and the ability to run extremely fast.
The film was directed by Jon Favreau from a script by Jeff Nathanson. It stars Donald Glover, James Earl Jones, Beyonce, Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen, John Oliver, John Kani, Alfre Woodard, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Keegan-Michael Key, Eric Andre, Florence Kasumba, Shahadi Wright Joseph and JD McCrary. It will be released in theaters on July 19, 2019.
