Kathy Bates Praises Lizzy Caplan’s Portrayal of Annie Wilkes on Castle Rock

Annie Wilkes has come to Castle Rock in the latest season, and Kathy Bates couldn’t be happier with how she’s being played. Bates, who won an Oscar playing Annie in the film adaptation of Misery, posted to Twitter on Thursday to praise Lizzay Caplan’s portrayal of the character.

Caplan is a new addition to the cast of the Hulu psychelogical horror series, which is set in Stephen King’s famed fictional town and sees elements of his various novels incorporated in. Caplan is part of an ensemble cast that includes Bill Skarsgård, Tim Robbins, Garrett Hedlund, Elsie Fisher, Yusra Warsama, Barkhad Abdi and Matthew Alan this season. You can see Bates’ tweet below:
