– GCW returned to action for last night’s Welcome to Heartbreak event. The card was held at The Ukrainian Culture Center in Los Angeles, California. The show aired live on FITE TV. Below are some results, courtesy of Fightful:

* The Briscoes beat Juicy Finau & Jacob Fatu
* Blake Christian beat Nick Wayne.
* Tony Deppen beat Kevin Blackwood.
* “Speedball” Mike Bailey beat Ninja Mack.
* GCW Extreme Championship: AJ Gray (c) beat ACH to retain the title.
* Dr. Wagner beat Homicide.
* Second Gear and Friends (Matthew Justice, Dark Sheik, Allie Katch, & Gringo Loco) beat Team Reefer (Grim Reefer, Jimmy Lloyd, Jordan Oliver, & Jack Cartwheel).
* Joey Janela & X-Pac beat The Major Players (Matt Cardona & Brian Myers) (w/ Chelsea Green).

While WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac, had a successful in-ring return at the event, his tag team partner Joey Janela turned him after the match. Fightful reports that Waltman thanked the fans after the match and appeared to be preparing to announce his retirement. He hugged a “distraught” Janela who then hit Waltman with a Superkick.

When Waltman tried to get up, Janela continued to shove back to the ground. Fans then started throwing garbage into the ring and booing Janela. You can view clips of the post-main event aftermath that were posted on Twitter below.
