Update on Matt Riddle’s MLW Status Following Recent Controversy

As previously reported, Matt Riddle came under fire for no showing a charity event for GWK and keeping his deposit. However, he later gave that deposit back and claimed that it wasn’t a charity event until the last minute. Either way, it resulted in him getting pulled from a convention. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it has not resulted in his exit from MLW, as he is still with the company.

There were some that assumed MLW would cut ties with Riddle, particularly since he lost the World title to Mads Krule Krugger last weekend at MLW Fightland. He is expected to work MLW Slaughterhouse on October 4.
