During a recent interview with Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert, AEW star and former House of Black member, Julia Hart, spoke about the recent success of her former stablemate, Brody King. Hart explained how incredibly proud of King’s work and success since the group went their separate ways.
Julia Hart said of Brody King, “I’m so proud of him. It’s so cool seeing where we both came. I remember one of our first conversations, we were talking about where we lived, and we found out we lived ten minutes away from each other.” She continued, “Meeting his wife, who is amazing, we’ve become really close, and his kids are so cute and fun. They’re going to be like the coolest kids on the block.”
Hart also noted how much being mentored by King helped her career. She added, “Being under his wing has meant a lot to me, and he’s helped me tremendously.”
Since House of Black split up, Brody King went on to hold the AEW World Tag Team Titles with Bandido. He also picked up a shocking upset win over MJF, which earned him a later rematch against MJF for the AEW World Title at Grand Slam Australia 2026 last month.
