Mick Foley is All Elite, and a new report has an update the internal belief regarding whether he will end up wrestling a match in AEW. As noted, the Hardcore Legend signed with AEW ahead of AEW Double Or Nothing. There has been plenty of speculation as to whether Foley will wrestle a match for AEW, and Foley himself has said that he thinks he could have one final match as part of the company.

Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that sources in AEW believe that Foley has made up his mind that he will have one more match, and it will be for AEW. The report notes that sources believe Tony Khan would be eager to book the match as long as Foley could get cleared to do so.

The site notes that MJF has long desired to work a feud with Foley, even before AEW officially made its TV debut with AEW Dynamite on October 2nd, 2019.

To be clear, there is no confirmation that such a match is being planned, that Foley would be cleared to wrestle, or who he might face if such a situation came to pass. Foley said in an interview with Ariel Helwani:

“It’s definitely crossed my mind… Clearly, if I had a match, it would be a match that would have to avoid trauma to the head. Luckily, there is a whole lot of me to traumatize below the neck. I think I have one more last good match in me. All the stars would have to align. It would have to make sense.”
