NJPW Announces Upcoming Street Fighter Movie Collaboration for King of Pro-Wrestling

New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) announced a new collaboration for the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie. The upcoming movie features NJPW star and former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hirooki Goto as E. Honda.
Per the announcement, promotional material for the movie will be featured at this weekend’s NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling 2026, slated for October 12. The movie logo will also be displayed on the ring mat and corner posts at the event.
NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling 2026 is set for Monday, October 12. The event will be held at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan. It will stream live on NJPW World.
Meanwhile, the new Street Fighter movie, featuring Goto as Edmond Honda, arrives in theaters on October 16. The movie also co-stars WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes as Guile and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns as Akuma.
