Tony Khan Defends ROH Over Criticism, Points Out Good Shows ROH Is Putting On

AEW President and ROH promoter Tony Khan responded to fan criticism of Ring of Honor on social media. Specifically, he responded to a fan sharing a photo of a Cagematch rating of the July 31 edition of ROH on HonorClub TV, which has a rating of 5.57.

The X user wrote, “What are we doing with ROH bro. This is just an example of the disaster that is going on these days. I’d love to see ROH go back to its roots and run actual shows again.”

Tony Khan later accused the fan of handpicking a TV episode from months ago and wrote that ROH put on an “excellent” show with Death Before Dishonor on pay-per-view in August that was “widely praised.” He wrote, “‘These days’? It’s October. This tv was in July. Since then, there was an excellent ROH Death Before Dishonor ppv in August. It was widely praised. There was free ROH TV on YouTube last night with tremendous action. You handpicked a tv from months ago and called it ‘these days.'”
