Kofi had a high praise for Bandido after their ROH World Championship match at AEW Grand Slam France. As noted, the two did battle in the opening match of this week’s special episode of Dynamite. The bout went 14 and a half minutes, with Bandido getting the win after a 21Plex to retain his title.
Kofi posted to his Instagram account to comment on the match and praise Bandido. He wrote:
“Thank you Paris!
You were incredible as always, but this time out was even more heartwarming. I came up short, but I’ll be damned if I say I didn’t have fun. I do know one thing tho: That @bandidowrestler is special…And strong af!”
Swerve Strickland and The New Level will defend their AEW World Trios Championships against Hangman Page and Brodido in a two out of three falls match at AEW WrestleDream on October 17th.
