Rey Mysterio Recalls Having Great Chemistry With Kevin Nash, Batista

Rey Mysterio recently weighed in on which big men he had great chemistry in the ring with, naming Kevin Nash and Dave Bautista. Mysterio is one of the masters of working David vs. Goliath matches and battled big men like Nash, Bautista, Kane, The Undertaker, and more.

The WWE Hall of Famer spoke with Adrian Hernandez for Unlikely and was asked about the giants he worked best with. You can see the highlights below:

On Who He Had The Best Chemistry With:

“I’ll tell you what — man, I pretty much had chemistry with all of them. But Kevin Nash — and I was just watching clips of that yesterday, when I worked him in WCW right after I lost my mask. It was the first match on Nitro. He made me look like I was a giant myself. Anytime I would touch him, his feet would leave the ground or the mat. And just, the bumping style that he had was just f**king crazy.

“But then, you know, you go to Batista who also made me look incredible and believable.”

On Not Working Much With Great Khali:

“The only dude that I didn’t get a chance to do much with was Khali. [I] just kind of was a shadow for him. But it was good because his storyline with Taker at the time, just made it much more intense. I couldn’t touch him, but when Taker put his hands on him, he whooped his ass.”
