Andrey Koreshkov Hopes He Gets a Title Shot After Bellator 182 Win

MMAjunkie spoke to Bellator MMA fighter and former welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov after his win over Chidi Njokuani in the main event for Bellator 182. Korehskov won by knockout in the headlining fight for the card. Below are some highlights.

Korehskov on his performance: “I feel like I had a really good performance. I matched him standing, and obviously I finished the fight in a spectacular fashion on the ground. It wasn’t a boring fight – it was an exciting fight, and Chidi is obviously a tough opponent. So I feel like I earned the shot to go back to the title. I feel like with my performance today, I should get a title shot.”

Korehskov on his goal to get the belt: “Rory or Douglas, it doesn’t matter. Be ready, because I’m coming – I’m coming for the belt.”
