Derrick Lewis Wants to Face Roy Nelson Again

Derrick Lewis spoke with MMAjunkie about his win over Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night 90. Some highlights are below:

On wanting another shot at Nelson: “I was just wishing I’d finished him in the first round….I still want a rematch. I promised my fans a finish. I never won by decision, so I didn’t expect to win here tonight.”

On critiquing his performance: “I felt it was negative. I believe I was too conservative with my energy. I couldn’t finish him in the first, so I thought for sure I was going to finish him in the third.”
