Germaine de Randamie’s Hand Surgery a Success

Former UFC women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie underwent revealed that she underwent hand surgery on Tuesday. Randamie, who dropped out of a fight at UFC Fight Night 115 over lingering right hand issues, posted to Instagram and revealed that the surgery went well.

Randamie said, “Just had my surgery. Everything went well no complications!! Thank you so much for the great care #DrFeitz #xpertclinic ???? time to let my body heal and come back stronger, faster and more motivated than ever before. Thank you to my family, my love, friends, team and all who supported me. I’m forever thankful for all you have done ” DIE WITH MEMORIES,NOT DREAMS”

The withdrawal was the second in a row for de Randamie, who had her championship stripped when she refused to defend it against Cris “Cyborg” Justino citing the challenger’s past PED issues. Randamie last fought at UFC 208 in February, where she won the inaugural title against Holly Holm.
