Manny Bermudez Says He Had Serious Nerves in UFC Debut

The submission win might have led most to think differently, but Manny Bermudez has no problem admitting how he really felt heading into his UFC debut.

On his nerves making his UFC debut: “If I looked nervous out there, that’s not even 100th of what I actually felt like.”

On getting the win: “I just want to get comfortable in there. I’m still young. I still have so much to learn. To be in the UFC at 23 and to have an undefeated record like I do, I never thought I’d be here, but here I am.”

On planning to take some time to figure out what’s next: “This first month of the year has been a lot of things happening at once.”
