Arthur Fleck Meets Harley Quinn In First Joker: Folie A Deux Teaser

The first teaser for Joker: Folie A Deux is online, featuring our first full look at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and more. Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer for the Joker sequel on Tuesday, and you can check it out below.

The trailer picks up where Joker left off, with Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) in Arkham Asylum after the events of the previous film. There he meets Harley and the trailer puts us through a number of sequences — though considering Arthur’s state of mind in the last film, it isn’t necessarily clear which ones are real and which aren’t.

The Todd Phillips-directed and written movie is set to release on October 4th and stars Phoenix, Gaga, Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey. Zazie Beetz is also returning to reprise her role of Sophie Dumond from the first film. An official plot synopsis has yet to be released.

Joker was a critical and commercial smash when it released in 2019, grossing $1.079 billion worldwide and earning 11 Oscar nominations, with wins for Best Original Score and Best Actor (Phoenix).
