Avengers: Endgame Directors Reveal Behind-The-Scenes Look At The Film’s Stan Lee Cameo
Spoiler warning: Mild spoilers for Avengers: Endgame ahead.
Stan Lee’s posthumous cameo in Endgame is one of his most memorable yet. Set in a scene in the 70s after one of the film’s timejumps, we see a car ride by with the bumperplate of one of Stan’s catchphrases, “‘Nuff said!” and when the camera pans around to the window, we see the man himself, de-aged by several decades as he proclaims, “Make love not war!”
The film’s directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, shared a picture on Twitter revealing Stan in make-up to help the de-aging process, though much of it was still done digitally as well. You can see the tweet below:
Just because the spoiler ban is lifting, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat your fellow humans with respect and dignity during discourse. Or that you should run around intentionally trying to spoil the movie for people who haven’t seen it…#BeKindOutThere#NuffSaid pic.twitter.com/MMl6bpXQ4P
