Beverly Hills Cop 4 Set to Film in California
Beverly Hills Cop 4 is gearing up for production it seems, as it is set to film in California. THR reports that the film is among 23 films newly announced as tapping into the state’s tax incentives program.
The film is being produced by Netflix and Paramount and will see Eddie Murphy reprise his role of Axel Foley. THR reports that the film will generate $78 million in qualified spending in the state as it films for 58 days.
Among the other newly-set films to shoot in the state are Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon, Luca Guadagnino’s Scarface, and Universal’s untilted John Lennon and Yoko Ono film from Jean-Marc Vallée.
“We look forward to welcoming this diverse blend of films and filmmakers to the tax credit program,” California Film Commission executive director Colleen Bell said in a statement.
Plot details are still not yet revealed for the film, which will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys 4 Life).
