During last Friday’s (January 26) edition of Real Time With Bill Maher, host Bill Maher took President Donald Trump to task during a “New Rules” segment for the show, claiming that Trump “loves to pick fights with black people.” Below is a video of the segment.

Maher said, “If Donald Trump keeps insisting that he’s the least racist person anyone has ever met, he has to explain why the single most consistent thing in his whole life is he loves to pick fights with black people.” He added, “Is it just a coincidence that he’s perpetually pissed off at the NBA and the NFL, but golfers and hockey players never seem to bother him?”

Maher himself has come under fire in the past by critics for making racist remarks when he once referred to himself as a “house n****” on his show. He also claimed that Islam is “the only religion that acts like the mafia.”

During the segment, Maher ran off a list of incidents where the president has picked fights with black people, such as targeting NFL player Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem and also withdrawing the White House invite for Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry, who was less than interested.
