Dave Bautista, Pamela Anderson & More To Star In The Last Showgirl

Dave Bautista is joining the cast of The Last Showgirl alongside Pamela Anderson, Kiernan Shipka, Jamie Lee Curtis and more. Deadline reports that Anderson, Shipka, Curtis, Bautista, Brenda Song, and Billie Lourd are starring in the film from Gia Coppola (Mainstream), the granddaughter of Francis Ford Coppola.

The film is written by Kate Gersten and Robert Schwartzman and has already completed production. It is described as follows:

The film follows a seasoned showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run. As a dancer in her fifties, she struggles with what to do next. As a mother, she strives to repair a strained relationship with her daughter, who often took a backseat to her showgirl family.

“Dream project, dream cast,” Schwartzman said in a statement to Deadline. “We couldn’t be more honored and appreciative of the chance to tell an authentic Las Vegas story that pays homage to the iconic Showgirl, told through Gia’s unique sense of style and visual storytelling.”
